ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING anywhere on the property except in the designated smoking area, located at the shelter on the corner of Longview and 69th Street.
Cameras and cell phones are prohibited in the production and warehouse areas. Ask your site contact where you can safely store these items while you are in these areas.
For medical or chemical spill emergencies dial #77 from any facility phone. Be prepared to state your location, the type of emergency and who is involved.
In the event of a fire, evacuate the building immediately by following the outlined Evacuation procedures.

  • Fingernail polish and exposed Band-Aids must be covered with gloves. Metal detectable Band-Aids can be provided if unable to be covered by gloves.

Evacuation procedures

In the event of a building evacuation follow your Givaudan Contact to the appropriate assembly area. If you get separated, follow the marked exit routes and assemble in the west employee parking lot. Please comply with the following:
  1. Walk, don’t run.
  2. All employees and visitors should exit at the nearest exit where they are working at the time of the evacuation.
  3. Do not try to retrieve personal belongings. Leave the building as quickly as possible.
  4. Do not return to the building for any reason.
  5. Do not try to fight the fire on your own.
  6. Do not go to your cars or to any other location other than the one designated. We must account for all personnel in the building.
In the event of a tornado or severe weather, please go to the nearest designated severe weather shelter with your Givaudan contact. Once in the designated area, please wait for further instructions from the Incident Commander and the all clear is given before leaving the designated shelter area.

Power outage

In the event of a power outage there will be a two-minute delay before the emergency lights activate. Remain with your Givaudan contact until the level of evacuation is determined.
