2025 Spring Investor Conference
Consumer products: everyday growth opportunities
On 10 April 2025, Givaudan welcomed analysts and investors to the headquarters in Vernier for our annual Spring Investor Conference.
The event was held in a hybrid format, allowing over 40 guests to attend in person while many more connected via webcast, broadening the reach of our insights and discussions.
The conference commenced with an overview of Givaudan’s first-quarter sales presented by the CEO, Gilles Andrier. He expressed satisfaction with the strong start to the year across business segments, customer groups, and geographies.

“We are confident in our ability to deliver on our strategy while continuing to offer innovative solutions that drive our customers’ growth, all with a high level of service and the agility to navigate challenges in the broader macroeconomic environment.”
Gilles Andrier, Chief Executive Officer
Gilles highlighted the effectiveness of the Company’s natural hedges across various segments and geographies, which had enabled Givaudan to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
Guest speaker, Felix Mayr-Harting, Head of Consumer Products for Fragrance & Beauty, took the floor next, to present ‘Consumer Products – Everyday Growth Opportunities’. He presented the evolving landscape of consumer preferences and Givaudan’s strategic positioning to capitalise on these trends.

“The fundamentally attractive market for fragrances remains strong, driven by consumers’ desire for scent in their everyday lives. Givaudan is well-positioned in our business today and investing for future success.”
Felix Mayr-Harting, Head of Consumer Products for Fragrance & Beauty
He also highlighted the importance of investing in capabilities to ensure that fragrances meet the evolving needs of consumers. A commitment to innovation through the ‘Future Fit Palette’ was emphasised, focusing on the development of new molecules and sustainable ingredients, as well as advancements in delivery systems and technology. These investments are essential for creating fragrances that not only win projects, but also drive the growth of customers’ brands.
Following the presentation, a Q&A session allowed attendees both in person and virtually, to engage directly with our CEO Gilles Andrier, along with our CFO Stewart Harris and guest speaker Felix Mayr-Harting.
The conference also featured exhibition hubs, where in-person attendees could explore three innovative areas showcasing Givaudan’s latest advancements. One exhibit highlighted our extensive portfolio of delivery systems, recognised as one of the most expansive in the industry, with a focus on our innovative malodour approach, particularly our biocaps and their diverse applications, ranging from laundry sheets to cosmetics.

A second booth showcased our digital tools aimed at enhancing consumer engagement. This included Banyan and MyRomi, which invite consumers into the development process, and Myrissi to demonstrate how we leverage neuroscience and AI to predict consumer emotions, providing a fascinating glimpse into the future of product development.
A third exhibit allowed attendees to explore our comprehensive palette of ingredients, emphasising how science and technology support the art of perfumery and showcasing the synergy between creativity and innovation.
The Spring Investor Conference provided an opportunity to share our achievements and future directions, as well as to engage with our analysts and investors. As we navigate the evolving consumer products landscape, we remain focused on growth and value creation, staying true to our tagline ‘Human by nature’.
