The long-term future of natural resources can only be secured by building strong relationships with local producers around the world. From the misty forests of Madagascar to the sun-drenched slopes of Andalusia, Givaudan’s field teams and partners travel to remote corners of the world to source a wide variety of precious natural ingredients.

The key to our continued success in securing the long-term supply of these often fragile plants is the close working relationship we establish with the very people who grow, collect and distil our raw materials.

Supporting communities and nature through the Givaudan Foundation

Established in 2013, the Givaudan Foundation is a non-profit organisation that supports communities and nature where Givaudan sources and operates. Since its creation, the Foundation has been active in many countries and its work has touched a lot of  beneficiaries, their families and communities.

The Givaudan Foundation operates across two pillars:

  • Communities where Givaudan sources natural ingredients: supporting natural ingredient producers, their families and local communities by addressing specific social, economic and environmental issues.

  • Communities where Givaudan employees work: supporting employee-driven projects that promote education, economic opportunity and wellbeing, and help communities protect their natural resources.
