Givaudan’s 2024 Spring Investor Conference took place on 11 April combining in-person and virtual attendance.

It was a pleasure to welcome over 50 attendees at our Kemptthal site, along with around 100 investors and analysts joining through the live streaming.

CEO Gilles Andrier began the conference by presenting the sales figures for the first quarter of 2024. 

Givaudan achieved excellent growth across all markets and segments, with CHF 1,822 million in sales, representing a 12.6% increase on a like-for-like basis1 compared to the same period last year.

The conference also featured guest speaker Stéphane Dupuits, Head of Customer Excellence in Taste & Wellbeing, who focused on how Givaudan is constantly working to exceed customer expectations and create unforgettable food experiences. He discussed the three main customer challenges of inspiration, creation, and validation, and highlighted Givaudan’s technological capabilities, such as Customer Foresight and flavour profiling tools, that enable us to understand and meet our customers’ needs. Stéphane also demonstrated that while a leader in flavour and taste, Givaudan has selectively expanded into high valued-added natural ingredients.

After the presentations, participants had the opportunity to take part in an immersive experience tour. This included a captivating presentation by Igor Parshin, Global Marketing Manager Savoury Taste, showcasing Givaudan’s vision for the future of food experiences. Participants also had the chance to co-create with our specialists the ‘Spring Investor Conference drink’ of the future and participate in the validation phase of these creations. This hands-on experience allowed participants to fully immerse themselves in the three phases of addressing customer challenges.
